...agree with sweetness on the midpalate, but didn't find it too cloying or rich. Adequate acidity on the finish to keep overall impression of freshness. Probably best to drink this in its youth. Good inexpensive white burg.

Lovely fresh and pure expression of Saint Romain. Starts slow and soft (with odd sweet corn notes) but quickly develops more acidity and minerality. Tropical lime citrus. Too much sweet fruit in mid-palate for my taste though. This was also labeled "Combe Bazin" on the bottle but I can't find any info on whether this is different from their standard Saint Romain or they've just added site designation too. (N.B.: Second bottle a few months later did not show as much sweetness and was more on the lime and acid spectrum.)

Lovely wine. Still rather young and primary. Was improving with each pour. Excellent balance and purity as always.
