Community Tasting Notes (3) Avg Score: 91 points

  • By the glass as part of wine paring ( we did a partial version of it) at the excellent 3 star deserving The Kitchen Table, London
This is now in a very good time in its drinking window with a lot of secondary feel, soft earth and well evolved fruit with good depth. Lacked but a bit of length to push it to 1er status in our view and really impressive VV Village. 91+

  • Short decant before pour, smoky and garrigue at the outset, but when it opened up in the glass the fruit really came out. Delicious dark fruit. This should keep for some time. Next time will give it more time before pour.

  • Apparently double decanted on Christmas day then tucked away as not required. This was singing when we got to it with a cornucopia of black and red fruit lending a compote quality. Medium weight and long. Very pleasant, the bottle practically evaporated...
