Tart red fruits, floral, baking spice, and hints of earth on the nose. Medium weight with fresh silky tannin and bright acid. From one of the world's best Pinot Noir makers. Easy drinking and very enjoyable.

Tart cherry and red fruit. Light weight, with a touch of cranberry, earth, and good acidity. Recognizable as Pinot Noir, but not particularly complex. For the price point, it's quite easy drinking.

decanted a couple hours; initially this would easily be confused with a low weight chianti, tart and slightly sharp and little fruit; over a bit more time the acid/tannin softened and became more enjoyable but overall not entirely to my liking. In comparison the '13 of this is quite a bit better with more fruit and better balance; perhaps the additional year will help this expand.

Really lovely Cote Chalonnaise. I have a few left but wish I had bought even more.
