This bottle feels a little less refined than the last one. I guess we're talking bottle variation (second day/wine in a row for me). As they age, each bottle becomes it's own wine. Fascinating, right? Feels like the PV dominates this one a bit. Super dark fruit flavors. Good, not great.

I don't know a lot about this wine, recently purchased a few bottles at auction. What I have guessed is that it's mostly Cabernet, since it comes from Martin Estate - known for their Cabernets. Also, the winemaker is Aaron Pott. If you haven't checked out his portfolio, do yourself a favor and check out his wines or wines he makes for other people (it's an all-star lineup of small, high-end boutique things, all amazing). I'm guessing there's some PV in here, becuase it is dark in color and flavor. Great extraction. Martin Estate has been a fave of mine for a long time, and this strikes me as a fine "second label" - but they only made it once! Sad!

Great juice for the price! Still a couple of good years left, I believe.
