My note from a year ago notes the absence of the bitter grapefruit edge, like the citrus pith, which I expect from this wine. However, in this bottle, it was definitely present (and, I notice, remarked on regularly in more recent CT notes, and usually as a somewhat negative attribute). Anyhow, I like it. Plenty of grapefruit, with a little orange zest, with some sweetened lemon tones at the core. Not quite as bright, fresh, and acidic as the best bottles of this I've had. Should probably now be drinking this up and looking for younger vintages. Generally, this bottle confirms again my opinion that this is a excellent example of verdejo, a fun alternative to the usual, and a great value.

Very high acidity and quite a bitter finish. Razor sharp, especially the first glass. Had trouble discerning specific flavors beyond those characteristics.
