  • Nose: Very ripe, almost jammy nose. Dried plums, black cherries, vanilla wood, licorice. Spices.
    Palate is also on the (almost over-)ripe dark fruit side. Broad mouthfeel. A lot of extraction-sweetness. Smooth and ripe tannins. Not elegant, but a crowd-pleaser, obviously, as it placed second in our Bordeaux-blend blind tasting.
