This is drinking well, decanted and poured about half an hour later...initially it was pretty restrained on the nose, it opened up over the coarse of about an hour. This is in a good spot, but I see no reason this wine won't continue to drink well for some time.

Bereserkerday purchase several years ago. Popped and poured at cellar temp. This is in a lovely spot. Nice spicy, spruce underbrush and warm tandoori spices on the nose. Good balance of sweet cranberry fruit, exotic spices and a lively acid filled finish. I don’t have enough experience with this producer or vineyard to know if this will improve further with age, but definitely has some more gas left in the tank.
Still quite youthful to be honest. Expressive fruit that integrates nicely with its acidic backbone. This should continue to mellow over the next 6-7 years, and it should be a beauty once it reaches its second decade.

Purchased from winery in 2017 and stored in passive cellar after delivery. Popped and poured at room temperature.
Pale, transparent color. Pleasant red berries on the nose, some stems, earth, mushrooms. Fruit forward, supple mouthfeel, but too confected and sweet for my tastes, lacking in acidity and with an awkward clipped finish.

Last bottle and should have saved more. This is one of the few wines which drink better when first opened. Vibrant with the underlying earthiness and spice of Eola.
