If you expect this to be like an Austrian GV you are in for a disappointment. It completely lacks that refreshing acidity, tightness, laser focused fruit and pepper that are so typical for Austrian Gruner Veltliner. On the contrary, the nose is very fruity, with pear and apple in the fore. Medium bodied and dry on the palate with vibrant fruit, but it is a flabby mess of pear, apple and some tropical fruit. Almost off-putting. 18€ for this bottle is a joke.
