Vin rarissime from the Savoie. The AOP Saint-Jeoire-Prieuré (created in 1973) covers just under 7 hectares in the valley of the Isère and is planted exclusively to Jacquère on chalky-marl soils. This specimen (not even mentioned on the website of the domaine) is a juicy and pleasant wine, with a characteristic nose of mountain air, lemon zest and flowers; lovely buckthorn flavours on the palate, supple and soft, with ripe acidity, light and lacking a bit of structure; good length. Drink young.
