Restrained, fine Pinot nose. Red fruits. Richer than I expect for a 2014 Bourgogne. Potel does a fantastic job with this wine. VV helps. Has the intense acid of 2014 red Bourgogne, with the Potel intensity. Not a great wine but better than context would suggest. A pleasant and engaging drink. Great with chicken thighs for lunch.

Fresh and fruity. Purple flowers and crunchy red berries abound. There's a cool, floral spice to the wine and it doesn't have huge depth or flesh but has enough going on to make things interesting.

Reflects the austere year for the reds. A pleasant food wine but does not excite because of the low fruit and its austere acid style.

Lacks fruit and ripeness. Quite acid and extractive. Improved a little over two days but still not a good drink. Leave it and see if time helps.

Very fresh red fruit, light weight and a little stem. Good despite light concentration, even for a Bourgogne.
