Translucent red with slight browning. Spice and raspberry nose. Medium bodied, dusty cherries, cranberries, crushed almonds, well integrated tannins, smoke, good acid, and a medium to long finish. Like a Chianti with California fruit.

Lovely Sangio that falls roughly in the same category as a structured Pinot or floral, red fruited Grenache. Very leathery and floral aromatically, open as well with little decanting necessary. Fresh, minerally, red fruited on the attack, with well-integrated oak in the middle and finish, quite silky texturally. Should become more savory with age, but a pleasure to drink now. Per producer has a small percentage of mixed whites in the blend--seems to be working nicely for this cuvee.

Beautiful California Sangiovese. Good fruit and great acidity. Well balanced. Paired really well with pizza

Silky smooth, good acidity. Drank it with homemade pizza, and it was a perfect pairing.

Small nose worth a little subtle oak. A little tannic, fairly warm. Slightly sour. Meh.
