  The backlabel says that 3000 numbered bottles were produced, this one was number 331:
  pale golden, smells of minerality and melon, medium to full body, not really dry, more off-dry, in the mouth melon and a sour touch, not much acidity, melon and a slightly sour touch in the aftertaste, medium finish, due to the low acidity, this reminds me more of a pinot blanc or a chardonnay, I guess the reason for this is that the Steiles Stück (steep piece, a pun on Geiles Stück= awesome piece) is sourced from old vines, a well made wine, but I guess the flavour profile is simply not my cup of tea.
