Deep ruby color. Aromas of medium plus intensity- black cherries and plums, vanilla, toast, hint of anise, graphite. On the palate the wine is dry, medium plus acidity and fine grained tannins, medium plus body and lingering finish. Beautifully structured, well balanced and the palate reflecting the bordeaux blend with black and red fruits, anise, pepper. very good wine, drinking well now but could hold 3-5 yrs

The most delicious St. Ruth I've had, ripe, balanced, and intense. A yummy picnic wine.
