Solid and a testament to the fine winemaking skills Jamie possesses. Crisp lemon, a tad bracing at times. Light straw in color with a very pleasant mid palate. If you were drinking it blind, one would peg it as a fine premier cru. Drink over the next five years.

Nose: Lemons and the usual fusile/oily minerality I get on this bottling. Palate: Still very fresh and vibrant even at almost 7 years old. Last bottle of this and it is rocking the house with bright lemons, firm acids and a lengthy elegant finish. Fantastic balance! 92+ points.

Bright lemon, flint, smoke, and a hint of walnut on the nose. The fruit on the palate has broadened and led to a broader mouth feel as this has matured, and the taunt acidity of its youth is now a zingy freshness. This is drinking wonderfully now.

Not nearly as vibrant and lovely as it was five years ago. Still a good wine made with a sense of place in a lean taut style. Lemon and chalk and stone, but all less so than before. A great first chard for this producer and something to be proud of, but on the slow decline IMO.

PnP and finally get the excitement. Lots of fruit, a hint of oak and a long finish. Still have 3 more bottles and will drink them in the near term.
