Tahbilk visit with Alistair Purbrick and Neil Larson (Tahbilk Winery, Nagambie Lakes, Victoria.): Reductive in style, quite austere and suffers from being a bit nondescript. Smells of lanolin and lemon zest in a vague way. Viscous mouthfeel, against which the acidity feels quite out of place in contrast. Shortish finish, kinda talc-like and almost astringent. 2-3 g/L of residual sugar.
