Opened this a day after tasting the 2010. The 2014 is approachable now. Medium red , good acidity , flavours of dark fruit / sour cherry , slight earthiness , moderate length. This needs more time to balance the tannins and let the fruit and sweetness masked by the tannins shine . Truly believe these GC Cortons need at least 10+ years to evolve into great wines. The 2010 is much better at its stage of age.

Opened yesterday and was a little tight. Drank the remainder the next day from a bottle that was air extracted and sealed. Today this has started to blossom. Dark red/ purple tinged rim, slight fruit nose, good tannins ,good acidity. The tannins still dominate but the dark fruits do pop out at the back of the palate. This still need time to balance out so will let the remaining bottles rest at least a year before I check another bottle.

Très bon, impression d’avoir une grosse cerise dans la bouche. Minime sucrosité en milieu de bouche, aucune amertume dérangeante. Un beau velouté en finale. Manquait de profondeur et de complexité pour moi. Excellent: oui! RQP: non

Tasted blind – Fresh and creamy mixed berries and red cherries, polished fruits with substantial oak. Bright red fruits with crunchy berries. Good weight. Clos Vougeot? 2015? (90/100)

Good nose and depth of finish. Fruit was hiding a bit but overall pleasant bottle. It may need a little more time.
