Pop and pour. Open for business from the start, but it was even better after about a half hour.
The tasting notes from SPIDERMARK was spot on for me. So I won’t repeat everything. Key points are the complexity it provides beside the fruit - leather, tabacco ….
Love it. (So much better than my last note from 2.5 years ago)

Very good wine. Certainly it was crafted in an effort to be deliberately backward in style. And since it was made by the folks at Louis Jabot, they succeeded! A vibrant nose, with floral notes, some pomegranate, and alot of tobacco, closer to cigar leaf. On the palate I detected some leather, a bit of stone fruit, a hint of sour cherry, herbs, and some camphor. Good acidity and balance. Bordering on elegant. Reminded me of a very minor Burgundy, as it did hold some mystery.
The finish was lovely and long.
This is not a wine for those who love forward fruit. I shared it with a friend who prefers that style, and he was not as impressed as I was. Perhaps if consumed earlier, the fruit would have been a little bit brighter. This wine should be consumed soon. It is very good stuff.

Initially tight After an hour some cherry Transitioned to licorice and blackberry Initially medium to full mouth feel with no tannins Eventually tannins came on, helping to balance the slight creaminess

Cherry, earthy nose, hints of blackberry. More of the same on the tongue. Very smooth. Surprisingly quick finish, and not much more on day two. Doubt it has very much more to give.

Harvest Lunch Wines; 9/8/2021-10/9/2021 (Resonance, Carlton, OR): Nose: The nose is wide open and balanced with spice box, plums, red cherries, violets, perfumes, candy notes, roses, red flowers, pomegranate, and raspberries. This is well balanced and seamless right now as it enters a maturing stage.
Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. The feel is well balanced with red cherries, pomegranate, raspberries, plums, violets, and spice box tones.
Overall: This is right in its zone. It can certainly last longer, but I don’t see much of a reason to hold as everything is working in harmony.
