Crisp and delicious straight from the cellar, with no hint of it being over the hill. Well balanced, stable flavors of apricot and peaches. Glimpses of pear. Pleasant lingering finish with mild acidity. Paired well with turkey dinner.

A well stored gift from a friend that was moving I opened it first chance I got because I feared it might be over the hill. It was not, it was still fresh. Contrary to general opinion dry SB with good acidity and pH will age. Overall it is a relatively mild SB that binds out if it is too chilled but is quite nice at cellar temperature, dry, some weight, and mildly herbal, good citrus finish. Not sure I would have bought this for $20+, but I didn't pay for it.

I was concerned that this wine had exceeded its drink before date in Cellar Tracker; however, it was better than the last bottle from 1 year ago. Excellent example of a Napa sauvignon blanc. Well worth its premium over a lot of the NZ offerings.

This pale yellow wine offers aromas and flavors of white peaches, apricots, melon and wet stones. Light-bodied, fresh and with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.5%), it delivers comparable flavors and stays solid in the middle. Closing crisp and with medium length, this is a quality Sauvignon Blanc that will stand nicely on its own or when paired with light fare. Drink now-2018.
