The most fruit forward Pinot I have ever experienced under the P&H label. Dark red fruit is accented by medium spice notes like in potpourri. It paired perfectly with the miso salmon dish! Good depth and texture. Wonderful aromatics.

Like a lot of these P&H Pinots and California Pinot Noirs in general, there’s always considerable fruit extraction, body, and color created during the wine making process. Nothing offensive, if you like the style: powerful, rich, dark, and fruity; however, if you’re looking for an elegant, lighter bodied, nuanced, or Burgundian Pinot Noir, this is not what you’re seeking. Decant and enjoy with food for maximum enjoyment.

Decanted for 45 minutes. Continued to open for another 15-30. One of my favorite P&H pinots. More complex with dark cherry and strawberry, spice, vanilla, moderate tannin and acid, Cn continue to age for years.

Typical P&H. Very fruit forward but balanced. Not sure if I would have recognized this as a pinot noir if I was tasting blind but very enjoyable.
