Appears to be a darker yellow, but that's just the clear bottle. In the glass it looks fine. On opening, an unpleasant cat pee odor that faded with air to a pleasing honeysuckle and tangerine. On the palate, sweet citrus and pear. Bright but not sharp finish.
Probably the most expensive domestic Sauvignon Blanc I've bought, so I had higher expectations than it delivered, but otherwise a fine wine.

All previous notes apply. My last bottle. A good SB, but one in which I found myself longing for a little more "oomph" from overall. Crisp, light, and agreeable. A good sipper on a hot day.

Fresh cut grass and citrus with a lingering finish. Interestingly complex but somehow too much acidity on the front of the pallet for me personally to give it a higher score. Drank alongside the 2015 hartwell estate SB and collectively the group preferred the more green apple and tropical fruit style of that one (rated 91 for Hartwell).

Great SB at a competitive price. Lots of stone fruit, great viscosity, drinks so well right now.

Just a great white. Same notes as last bottle. Celebrating power restored after Irma.
