The nose is what you’d expect from a moderately aged, moderate quality appellation level Bourgogne. On the palate it feels a little like Beaujolais with some punchy fruit that doesn’t exactly scream Pinot. And there’s hibiscus, pepper, red apple. Decent wine, good with a mushroom white cheddar Mac and cheese. Solid acidity (M to M+), M- to low tannins, fairly light body and a little watery. Qpr is fine (average to a little below) for burgundy but poor compared to other old world reds. 6-/10

Delicious surpris e pinot. Light but well structured. Cherry with hint of minerality. Had it with a Friday night Peruvian grilled chicken but would have been just as good with a pork loin and Brussell sprouts. Can't wait to try it again.

This bottle was at peak...or just a bit on the downside. Suave, great with food, well balanced.

Paired with seared tuna steak. Light spice and subtle fruitiness.

No formal notes, but this was seriously not bad and held up well over three nights (under cork in fridge). Total score at around $8 at Grocery Outlet.
