Very woodsy... Super dry, mineral, peach skin or pit; little fruit. Mouth coating acid begs for food. Showing a surprising amount of oxygen exposure based on other examples of the varietal.

A private lunch (Restaurant High Street on Hudson, New York City, NY, USA): Vines planted in 1981, brief skin contact, fermented in concrete eggs (70%) and stainless steel (30%), aged for four months in stainless steel and neutral French oak, 11.7% ABV, 1,400 cases produced. Very pale salmon colour; fresh and mineral nose, tangerine, canteloupe melon and aromatic green herbs; there is ripe fruit on the supple and juicy palate, energetic, with ripe but zesty acidity; nice hint of melon on the finish, good length. Even the producer acknowledges that Trousseau Gris is an obscure variety, but they have produced a lovely wine from it.

This was really drinking well last night. A lot of strawberry, a little peach. Delicious.

Pleasant very dry wine with citrus, pears, and hints of floral and spice.

Pale salmon pink. Melon, pear, and orange. Medium acidity. Looking forward to these this summer. With Chinese food tonight
