We tasted at the winery tasting room, a truly enjoyable experience. A big wine with a stellar Napa Valley pedigree. Has some of that earthy, rustic wet tree bark taste. Rich dark purple color. Superb balance. Intense, concentrated, vibrant, plum and blackberry fruit. Precise tannins. Integrated. Even a hint if cocoa with graphite. Gets better with each sip, can only imagine what some cellaring this wine could accomplish.

Still holding up well. Similar to last bottle, but not as burly as a couple years ago.

Really liked this wine. My first Petit Verdot, was not as overpowering as expected. Good balance of fruit and tannin.

We love finding good petit verdots, this is definitely in that category. Deep, dark fruit. Bold and burly, lots of time left in it.
