Light gold. Medium+ sweetness, medium fruit & acid. Tasted alongside some significant competition, it was leaner than I expected, but its remarkable balance left me in awe. Based on previous notes, this could be peaking.

Helder lichtgeel. In de geur perzik, sinaasappel, kruidig, mineralen, wasbenzine. Filmend in de mond met zoet en rijp geel fruit, romig, subtiele zuren. Mist wat vulling en frisheid, maar drinkt aangenaam weg.

sweet n' ripe peach bomb, perhaps lacking just a little zip of acidity and complexity to achieve the highest levels, but it went oh, so well with our foie gras toasts with maple syrup caramelized red onions. Not so sure about how long the ageing potential for this wine would be though, given the rather low acidity.

Popped and poured. Nose has peaches and diesel. On the palate, a peach bomb, with nectarine and apricot. Definitely quite ripe, fairly sweet, and good but not bracing acidity. Still very young, but this has plenty of concentration and power to go the distance. Delicious. $29
