- Aromas of alcohol - Opened two bottles for thanksgiving. Cork on one was seeping, the other was soft. Both bottles took two hours to begin to open, smell was fruity, but oxidized. Flavor was tart, sour, one bottle more so than the other.

The vintner's label is spot on. I first thought cherry, but definitely can break it down to cassis and plum, with fennel and allspice aroma. Tannin tells me this one will last a few years in storage. Medium dry with a long finish, a slight tartness. Deep clear ruby color.

This bottle may have been off. Aromas took long time to open. Dry, a little tart, not on prime.
