Masters Saturday. Stunning wine. Started out day-1 a little more perfumed. Day-2 it opened up and became rich and luscious. Dark cherry, coffee, menthol, velvety texture, with perfect minerality. This was one those bottles where each sip the wine seemed to get better. Paired perfectly with dry rubbed, slow roasted, baby back ribs.

PNP; minimal sediment. Baked plum, peppers, graphite. Some fruit comes through on the palate but quite tannic. Perhaps with some air will calm down but would hold.

Very nice. Aging well. Tannins still fairly strong. Has room to age more.
