  • Deep Ruby Red in colour showing some maturity on rim, all good.
Tobacco , cedar oak, leafy characters showing on nose with not green under ripe flaws but more varietal/typical like blend being Cab/Merlot.
Quite cool climate fruit for certain, an Bordeaux like flavours. Reminds me of (Pichon Longueville Lalande ) 2nd growth without the new oak.
Palate is showing cabernet like sweetness and cedar , leafy merlot like finish.
Lovely soft oily tannins, which are balanced, oak integrated with good acid and medium length. Very well made wine.
2012 vintage is the best vintage in southern Australia (VIC,SA,Tasmania) for many years an the wines have such great Fruit an tannin structure balance , and will live for very long time.
