  • Tasted blind. Screw-cap. Pop and poured. At Pan Pac.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of sweet baking spices, sea salt minerality, sweet loamy earth, stalky fresh raspberries. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), low tannins, medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet stalky raspberries, tart strawberries, tart red cherries, sweet baking spices. Medium+ finish.
Good quality. For fresh early drinking. I doubt this has the substance to develop much more complexity with age. I was guessing a young Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir.
