Solid Italian wine which behaves very Italian. Sagrantino is reputed to be Sangiovese’s awkward cousin. I love this grape. Rustic comes to mind. Use a screen.

Deep ruby hue. Notes of blackberry, olives, pepper, and tar. Full tannins and high acidity. Superb with meats.

A little heavy, but quite good. Works excellent with Italian pasta and tomato sauce. Very dry. Rustic.
