  The nose showed intense dark fruits with plum, black cherry, and blackberry, followed by licorice, brown sugar, and sweet herbs. On the palate, I found rich, weighty textures, yet kept fresh by zesty acidity. Tart black cherry, raspberry. dark chocolate and sweet herbs. The finish was a little shorter than expected with black cherry and hints of fine tannin coating the palate. It was big and rich but still balanced and never went over the top.
