(Two Vintners Zinfandel Stonetree Vineyard) Hello friends. Just a couple of weeks ago, the Full Pull staff piled into a rented minivan for our annual eastern Washington trip with one of our favorite local winemakers, Morgan Lee. Together, we spent 36 hours visiting vineyards and tasting grapes from Yakima to the Rocks—with a few hours reserved for eating and sleeping in between. Morgan, the mastermind behind Two Vintners, Covington Cellars, and Block Wines (our very own winery within Full Pull), has spent the last decade proving himself to be one of the rising stars of our corner of the planet. Named one of Seattle Met’s winemakers to watch last fall, Morgan straddles the line of art and science when it comes to making vino, using a deft hand to create thoughtful, playful bottlings. Morgan’s level of expertise is never more clear than when you see him walking rows, pulling off grapes, and explaining through look and feel alone whether or not they are ready to be made into wine. Full Pull has long depended on one-on-one conversations with winemakers to help our business thrive. The direct connection to winemakers is usually what allows us some of our most exciting offers—and spending 36 hours in a car with one such winemaker was bound to produce something special. As we drove between Boushey Vineyard and Red Mountain, the topic of Morgan’s wines came up. Morgan is getting toward the end of inventory for his 2013 Cab-dominant Legit and 2014 Zinfandel. Like any proud winemaker, he would like to see the final bottles in happy homes before the holiday season. He wondered aloud, would we be interested in giving our list members access to these well-loved, well-reviewed bottles at a Full Pull-only price? Yes. Yes we would. Originally offered in August 2016 at $29.99/26.99 TPU, Morgan has given us access to the last available bottles of both wines for 20 dollars apiece.See key for # of bottles currently available.
(Two Vintners Zinfandel Stonetree Vineyard) Hello friends. In our third offer of this year, back on January 11, I wrote about Morgan Lee’s Columbia Valley Syrah, calling it “the way forward for Washington Syrah.” High praise, and I meant it. As of June 1, I have a partner in praise. In the June issue of Wine Enthusiast, Sean Sullivan gave the wine a 93pt review (only his third 93pt-er for $25-and-under Syrah, and none have scored higher). Before that review trickles through all the regular local sales channels, let’s jump in and grab our share. [Note: in addition to the Syrah, we’ll also have offers for Morgan’s new-release Grenache Blanc and a reoffer on his excellent Zinfandel below.] See key for # of bottles currently available.

Not really my thing. Big, plush, with lots of blueberry notes. High alcohol but doesn't carry itself that way.

My 4th go at this. Don't recall the 16.9% alcohol-monster previously, but there she is. Heavy on the fruit & bramble; check. Drink now.

big dark berry fruit. Strong tannins. Not a lot of pepper or secondary flavors yet.

Wow, that was a great mid week bottle. Depth of fruit, hint of pepper, perfect balance and seamless from attack to finish.
No sense that this window will close soon but why wait?
