Fresher and more fruit than the Vieilles Vignes, with finer tannins, there is a very appealing spicy peppery edge to this wine. Liger-Belair's attempt to identify Burgundian-type parcels in Moulin a Vent appears to work. Bio, unfined, and very delicious.

Pretty aromatic wine though it is funk-forward. Also red cherry candy and anise seed.
On palate, wine is sound, with a little pepper and heat coming out over the cherries. Clean medium length finish. There are some tannins here and I do wonder what this would be like with a little time.
Overall, we're not that into this wine. Pretty much funk and nothingness. Inadequately fruit forward to be fun, and also not complex enough to be worthy of contemplation. Why did these Moulin a Vent wines taste so much better when we were in Beaujolais??

Showing very well. Fully mature and ready to drink, mellow tannin, earth, lovely spice and red berries.

A little mellowed from last year, pleasant medium-bodied Beaujolais

Popped and poured as an afternoon sipper.
Nice turbid crimson color. Clear edge.

In the words of Peter ( Family guy): "I did not get it." Okay, lighter body, might improve. Something funny on the nose.
