Have had this two times with similar impressions. Great value with complex dark fruits and structure. Seems a very versatile wine from a food pairing perspective. Had this once with Bang Island Mussels, Merguez Sausage(smoked) in Tomato Sauce. Another time paired with edgy oriental fried chicken.
Body is a touch light than most touriga national due to blending, but still very promising.

A nose of some dark fruit and some spice, dark purple in color. A medium to full bodied red blend, with black cherry, plum, baking spice on finish, a good value. www.winelx.com

This wine has already integrated. Cork pop is pretty much a nose of crushed up rose petals and raspberry liqueur. Served PnP style. Went well with pork tenderloin. This wine was rose petals and raspberry on the front, but the wine develops a nice spice in the middle and finish that is almost a combination of those candied red-hots and cinnamon spice. The wine finishes with a lot of acidity and quite a bit of tannin. I bought one of these, which is enough IMO. I have a few Quinta do Crasto wines that are probably going to be more integrated than this one, and am really looking forward to trying those wines! Drink now. I think this wine could probably hold another few years if stored at 55 degrees.

Rich, complex. Great balance of vanilla, caramel, ripe berries. Nice oak accents. Well balanced tannins.
