tasting at work (Oinoscent): Open 17.30 tasted 18.20 The wine shows the amazing, impressive character I remember from the last time, big and extrovert, nutty profile, buttery, vanilla, grapefruit jam - citrus - stone fruit - peach and apricot marmelade, ultra ripe but baked or cooked fruit, wax, honey notes. Palate shows the same flavor profile, honey, citrus, stone fruit profile, vanilla, apricot, peach, herbal bitterness (which I don't recall having the last time), full body but fresh, long finish

Oinoscent crew day out mayhem: The wine shows honey color, tin peach and apricot, tin pineapple with some heavier floral notes. Fully developed but still going, ultra ripe, fresh marmalade, nice acidity and long spicy finish

Krotida Wine Trip to Priorat & Barcelona; 9/29/2019-10/2/2019: The wine is quite different in style from the 2007 tried before, the wine feels more oily but equally impressive, mineral and oaky, showing again very ripe quince, ripe and dried citrus fruit, lemon, depth, long finish. If given blind, I would have said Meursault

Nice sour-ish pear on the nose with a good hit of earth, definitely a fruit-forward wine but with the complexity to keep things interesting. Very nice fruit on the palate, but the earthy tones disappear and you get a creamy/fruity mouthfeel with a nice and acidic finish. If this had a more fragrant nose I would rate it higher, but as it stands it's very solid.

Not at all a powerhouse. Just a completely delicious, sweet and creamy, fruit driven wine that both you and your mother would love.
