90-91 If only the international market had taken to NZ Riesling how it did to NZ Sauv, what a different world we would be in. A well respected producer who I want to explore more.
Nosel: Lime-y kerosene, lemon flavour rubber band, some tropical high notes with an underbelly of steel.
Pal: Full on, off dry, lime juice and kerosene in a metal can left out in the sun, med- acid (would like more).
Fin: Green apple tart freshness and aluminium.
As per, it's hard to find the word to describe Riesling.

Nose of honey, flint, kerosene and orange blossom. Quite sweet on the palate--maybe not entirely balanced but so close this is a matter of opinion. Delightful. Not overly complex or concentrated. Will keep but may not improve a whole lot more.

Almost golden in color, like a young Sauternes. Intense aroma, zesty lime on the nose. Fills the palate with ripe fruit, honey, hints of citrus fruit, pineapple, peach with slight petrol-ly tones. Quite rich, slightly sweet with lower acidity. Lacks the complexity and freshness in some of the better German Rieslings. But still a really enjoyable wine. Goes well with Chinese food.

Very good, profound. Intense gunflint on the nose, along with flowers, citrus, and fresh apricot. Nice balance of residual sugar, acidity, and bitterness. Rather full-bodied for a Riesling in this part of the world.

Praelum - The Lord of the Wines (Praelum Wine Bistro): Off dry and full bodied, with some pineapples and melon. Would have liked it less cloying though...
