  Saved 6 750 ml wine bottles the past two weeks and decanted the 5 liter bottle of this wine into 6.5 bottles as it was time to drink up. this bottle had the cork sealed over with a metal cap and then a small amount of wax on top of the metal cap. Bottle #3 was much more aromatic than the first bottle, lots of blackberry and currants, even more blackberry with black cherry on the mid palate, long, long finish.

  Saved 6 750 ml wine bottles the past two weeks and decanted the 5 liter bottle of this wine into 6.5 bottles as it was time to drink up. This bottle had the cork sealed over with a metal cap and then a small amount of wax on top of the metal cap. Nose of blackberry, blackberry tart, and a touch of black currants, more of the same on the palate, delicious tasting, smooth, supple, at it's peak with 2 years to go, long, flavorful, old style Cabernet Sauvignon finish. $98 bottle at auction that will give me 6 bottles of wine to enjoy makes it a $16 bottle steal.
