Smooth, juicy, hint of meatiness from the mourvedre, very mild tannins, mild acidity, short aftertaste. Young drinking quaffable juice. I didn't get any pepper, not much herbs, maybe a slight suggestion of stems. Oak very mild also. Understated. Ok value from wine society. I wouldn't bother with a second though, too bland all round.

Drink over lunch hence short note Lots of bright cherry fruit and some herby notes, lovely violet acidity, fresh, not a hint of jam, excellent with roast pork, incredible value at £15 from the Wine Society. Very Rhône style but with super bright fruit.

Ruby just starting to fade at the rim, with pronounced legs, the nose shows garrigue herbs, sweet cherries, strawberries, hints of flowers, and earthiness. Tannins are muted, and the acidity cuts through a palate of chewy brambles and vanilla soaked cherries. The finish is short. This is an elegant take on Cotes du Rhone, with all the rough edges removed. It washed down a Boeuf en Daube most agreeably. Enjoy now and over the next year or two.

Garnet colour. Delicate spice nose. Still good fruit. At peak probably now

Born in the USA (The Great Hall, One Great George Street, Westminster): Red and blackberry fruit especially cherry, lightly spiced with some pepper. In the mouth it's spicy with cherry and berry, fine, slightly gritty tannins. Pretty. Hmm. Nice in fact.
