Better than the previous bottle, classic pencil box nose and a bit more dark fruit coming through but for me still to much acidity to make me want more of this wine, better with food than on its own, not much length.

At first there’s game and dark fruit. After a while pencil shavings becomes more prominent. Nice intensity on the the nose but less so on the palate. Fresh acidity and fine grained tannins. Great typicity for the price.

Classic Bordeaux all the ingredients are there for a decent bottle but the acidity overshadows all at the moment, can't at this level see it changing much and doubtful if this wine was made for the long haul, will try another soon to see if this was a one off.
