  • Fermented and aged in stainless steel. 12,5% alcohol.

Pale green color. Very ripe and aromatic nose with intense aromas of ripe apples, some gummi bear candies, a little bit of apricot-driven stone fruits and a faintest touch of sweet petrol aromatics. Very lovely. The wine is bone-dry yet it feels somewhat sweet in its ripeness, with only light-to-medium-bodied and very lively mouthfeel. There are focused flavors of ripe red apples, some sweet citrus fruits, a little bit of beeswax, a hint of apricots and a touch of steely minerality. Overall the wine is almost racy with its high acidity and it shows a wonderful combination of ripeness and acid-and-mineral-driven raciness. The finish is bright, lively and nuanced with persistent flavors of steely minerality, ripe citrus fruits, some peach, a little bit of yellow apples and a touch of white flowers.

A wonderfully zesty, structured and balanced Riesling that feels pretty ripe - as is to be expected of 2015 - yet also remarkably light, racy and mineral at the same time. A very, very lovely entry-level Riesling, really a wine in its own class. Very wonderful now and no doubt the wine can keep for many years in a cellar, if necessary. Good value at 16,90€.

  • Wet stones and yellow stone fruit on the nose, slightly floral, too. On the palate notes of grapefruit, white stone fruit, great minerality. Very lively and fresh. Mineral finish. Very good. 89-91
