Subtle nose with a hint of earth. Flavor profile is all in the mid and finish. Good structure, soft tannins, a hint of smoky mocha. Very impressive for a VA wine.

A bit richer and riper and darker purple than a typical VA cab franc. Some spiciness, darker fruits and tannic quality leads me to consider that there may be some petite Verdot in the blend. Or may just be very ripe cab franc. Likely to improve with more btl time.

Delicious right now. Juicy dark berry flavors up front followed by cocoa on the mid to late palette. Still has power & room to evolve

Very nice wine, good power for a Cab Franc but with great elegance.

good winemaker did best with VA grapes. A little intrigue with game and field.
