  Well-made wine... still drinking fresh and vibrant. Nice fruit and acidity. Light on the tannins.
  
  Nothing earth-shattering, but a fantastic light red to quaff with pizza or a hearty minestrone soup.
  
  THREE DAYS LATER: Drinking the last splash of this and I have to say, it’s gone up in my estimation. I was not expecting much, but it’s hanging on pretty well. The flavor has deepened - the fruit is still vibrant, but just a touch stewed. I feel like the tannins are somehow more present, if that’s possible. Secondary notes of violet and just a hint of tar have become more present. Still not earth-shattering, but definitely more to it than I remembered.
