Lively gold in colour. Assertive and attractive nose - something like lemon bread. Full but zesty in the palate, with good length. This seems to me to be just coming into its maturity. I'm very sorry that was my last bottle of it. Disgorged in September 2016.

Oct '17 disgorgement. Wonderful effervescence and great acidity, a terrific 55PN/45CH from 2008. Everything recent (2020) CT tasters have noted passes through the glass as it opens-up, but the forest floor and soft apple notes eventually rule. Mature but nowhere near tired, I really like this one-off purchase right where it is.

Light golden yellow. Fine bubbles. Toasty bread, bruised apple, honey, pinneaple. Very balanced, long. Medium bodied. Feels like off-dry, but dosage is just 7g/l. Very good and fully mature.

Similar tasting notes as before. This time, it has a hint of honey. Wonderful champagne.

Wonderful champagne! Lots of crisps green apples, tart, and a bit of honey. Love the golden color!
