  Avstår att sätta poäng. Denna var troligen inte defekt, men den var extremt sluten i relation till denna förra flaskan jag provade. En flaska kvar, och det ska bli intressant att se om det är flaskvariation, eller mina egna sinnen som spökar....

  Consistent with the way prior vintages have showed on release - not all that expressive, but shows its breed through its refined texture. So finessed and slender, in fact, that it defies expectations for Clos Vougeot, which is ordinarily a powerhouse of a vineyard. This, on the other hand, might have its vines at the top of the Clos but has its heart in Chambolle. A classic style of winemaking too - pale, restrained, and - thank you lord - no CO2.
