Wow, this sure brought back memories where/when some of us started our "wine-journey" with Australian wines, namely Shiraz... 3 Rivers, Greenock Creek Roennfeldt Road etc... Was told this used to be 3 Rivers, until a trademark dispute forced Ringland to change it. Despite 21-yrs on it, this still seemed stuck at less than 5-8yrs of age. Layers after layers of "thick" fruits - plums, black currants enveloped in a liqueur'ish texture, this was all about power, density, depth, but delivered in a balanced manner without any singular component "poking out". Regardless, this is a wine where 1-2 glasses should pretty much suffice... and I must certainly add that it went extremely well with BBQ/roasted meats!
