  Another late-90's Pinot Noir that I took a $10 flyer on. Cloudy crimson color with some bricking. Nose starts out with a savory aroma of barbecued meats, some minerality, and a lingeringly sweet note of milk chocolate. This is very mineral-driven and tertiary on the palate, with the fruit having given away to a bitterly acidic aftertaste. Not awful, still drinkable, but so far off its prime that it seems almost unfair to be evaluating it critically.
