Effing delicious and varietally on point with deep black raspberry and earthy funky forest floor. Floral, spicy, dark berry, and smokey-leather aromatics make you keep swirling and sipping, followed by a nice kiss of vanilla-white chocolate on a creamy finish, oh yeah this rocked it!

Poured through an aerator into a decanter, for 45 minutes. Dark purple, with slight lightening at the rim. Very good nose and flavors of blackberry, lots of florals, plus a little cherry and a touch of smoke. Good mouthfeel, with really nice fruit; floral notes really came on strong after 60 minutes. Enough acidity to help stand up to a grilled N.Y. strip. Tannin pretty much resolved. Decent finish. I wouldn't decant more than 60 minutes, and best over the next few years. This is our fourth of six bottles, and they've been very consistent.

Needs to air out for no more than 30 before drinking. Cocoa on the nose right out of the bottle. Smooth and balanced with dark fruit- blackberry and smoke. Let it air for a little too long and had liquorice hint as we finished off the bottle. Will drink again.
