It’s pale garnet colored. Strawberries, young cherries, some clay, dried herbs and dry forest floor. Medium (-) bodied with a high acidity. Acidity feels quite fresh, fruit is hiding a bit but feels elegant. Soft tannins, completely integrated. Nice fruit structure and depth. Good overall balance. Nice medium long finish with lots of herbal notes. I really like this kind of Pinot Noir although I do completely understand when some people are missing more fruit intensity. This is in a perfect spot right now and shouldn’t be kept for much longer. Drink up within the next 5-7 years. (IG)

Tasted next to the 2014 GG. Riper fruit in comparison, slightly candied. Still fresh and bright. More approachable. Long, expressive, lovely. 92-94
