  • Hits all the notes of what you'd want in a pinot, with the added effect of a cool breeze.

Nose: mint leaf, very faint red-blue fruit, truffle.

Palate: sous bois, sour red fruit, herbs, ethereal and light.

Very solid, great value for the quality, highly recommend.

  • Lovely perfumed wine. Medium ruby slightly lighter at rim. Red cherry, raspberry, red currant and notes of berry bramble with rose, mushroom and crushed rock. The floral notes are particularly strong with this wine. On the palate medium body with medium- tannin and medium+ acid, the acid is prominent but well integrated. Good finish with medium flavor intensity. Very nice wine indeed!

  • Clear, pale, ruby in appearance. The nose is clean, with med intensity. The palate is dry with med(+) acidity, med fine tannins, med alcohol, med(-) body, med intensity, and a med(+) finish. Notes of cranberry, sour red cherry, strawberry, red plum, vanilla, forest floor, and mushroom.

Very good wine with the structure to age 3-5 years. Drink or hold.

This bottle was Coravined a month or so ago. We've just started experimenting with the Coravin and, so far, we've been pleased with the results. Haven't gone longer than six weeks between tastings, though, so it will take some time to make a final decision. Comparing my notes today with a month ago, they are in the same ballpark.

I rated this wine very good, it would have gotten an outstanding if it had a little more intensity and longer finish. Really a remarkable wine at the villages level and should age for at least 3-5 years, probably more. Drink or hold.
