  Deep black-red. Some evolution on the nose with plenty of smoke, cassis, dark fruits alongside dusty, old library books and some herbal notes. As it was opened there are more oak spices that came to the fore. Full-bodied, big, powerful wine with sweet cocoa powder tannins, generous and expressive. Packed with black fruits, herbal heather notes, baked blueberry flesh, dark 70% chocolate, some char almost burnt toast elements. This is a bold, ambitious wine with great depth of flavour, long finish and is supported by plenty of oak. Works well.

  Very well made! Brought this bottle back from the winery. We all really enjoyed this bottle with grilled NY strips and King Crab....
