  Aroma: strawberry, grapefruit, dried fig, cherry cola, raspberry, menthol and peppercorn.
  Palate: ripe red fruits, peppery, muted, medium tannins, medium to long finish. Not bad for a new world wine. Paired nicely with a braised short ribs and creamy pasta. Best to finish on day 1. 89-90

  Ultra modernly styled, with gushing blue, purple, and black berry juices, fresh, in compote, candied, syrupy, and essences. A damp, black earth mineral ore element lingers behind the fruit tsunami. The wine has sufficient acid to hold it together and dusty to gritty tannins are present as well. It should be enjoyed over the next five to ten years. 90-91.

  Incredible first estate wine from Domaine Roy. Tasted a few days ago on out WV tasting trip, so my notes are sketchy, but this was one of the best, if not the best of the many wines we tasted. incredibly purity of fruit, deep body and flavor profile. A winery to watch.
